School’s back in session, and thousands of iPhones are capturing the magic milestones as little back packs, shiny new shoes, and fancy lead-based lunch boxes climb that big yellow bus. Tiny little fists heroically wave goodbye to the parents left behind.
And while tears are being shed, there are a few, brief moments of joy. Here’s mine:
They look so excited, with the mad skills kids have with computers, your blog may get disassemlbled in the wee hours of the morning by three crazed kids!
aren’t they a happy bunch? I have a still photo of them too, but one spelled sophomore wrong, so i didn’t put it up. didn’t want to embarrass her.
Laughing so hard! Your poor children. I am now looking forward to the day when I can put all the kids on one bus! By the way, kids look mortified.
Kids were more mortified that i was braless, in rather attractive hubby’s boxers, threatening to follow the bus to school like the young moms…(no offense!)
What? You didn’t make them hold umbrellas too? Hope their days got better! 🙂
Their day got better when they escaped on the bus — they would have beat me with an umbrella!
Darn it. The image doesn’t show up on my screen!
weird! It’s here, I swear it! Doesn’t come up on my cell, but seems to be good to go on laptop. Not sure why there may be a difference. Will have to wait for my 12 year old tech to come home to figure it out.
It’s worth it. promise.
Sooooooo funny!!!!!! I’m sure you deserved that moment! Your kids are beautiful!!
Thanks. they show well, and aren’t often that grumpy. Actually, that’s a lie. Boy isn’t usually that grumpy, girls often are!
